This standard defines logistics operations processes in a smart factory (SF), including process composition such as warehousing, packaging, shipment or transportation; implementation conditions; process quality evaluation; and process improvement. This standard also defines methods for management organization, facility layout, equipment requirements, information systems, employee requirements, emergency management, and evaluation in a SF.
Standardized logistics operation processes play an important role for the efficient operation of smart factories. This standard aims to promote standardized construction and operational efficiency in discrete manufacturing by optimizing the logistics operation process.
