Solid biofuels - Determination of length and diameter of pellets (Adopted ISO 17829:2015, first edition, 2015-10-15)
CSA Preface This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-ISO 17829, Solid biofuels - Determination of length and diameter of pellets, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 17829 (first edition, 2015-10-15). For brevity, this Standard will be referred to as "CAN/CSA-ISO 17829" throughout. This Standard is one of many Standards developed by ISO/TC 238 on Solid Biofuels that are being adopted by CSA Group. This Standard specifies the methods for the determination of diameter and length of pellets. Concerning the pellet length methods for both determination of the proportion of oversized pellets and for determination of the average length are included. This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group. Scope This International Standard specifies the methods for the determination of diameter and length of pellets. Concerning the pellet length methods for both determination of the proportion of oversized pellets and for determination of the average length are included.
