1.1 This practice provides detailed information on the handling and proper use of chemical-resistant resin grouts for filling joints of chemical-resistant brick or tile such as those covered in Specification C658.

Note 1-Resin tile grouts are applied to joints, generally 1/4 in. (6 mm) wide, after the brick or tile is set in place (grouting or tile-setters method). Resin mortars are troweled on the sides and bottom of bricks, generally in a 1/8-in. (3 mm) thickness, before the bricks are laid in place (buttering or bricklayers method). (See Practice C399.)

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are provided for information only.

1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. Specific precautionary information is given in Section 5.
